Hook and Hastings organ factory was the largest factory ever built in Weston. The three-story wooden building had 100-foot wings and an 80-foot center section. They made all the parts of the organ except the keys. In busy times, the men would work 10 hours a day, six days a week and shipped out approximately one organ a week.
